Women's Walk #58

Dear Sisters in Christ, 

I'm sending you this email with a heavy heart.

There are no Walks planned for our community in 2026. Our community is at a crossroads--where do we go from here? 

The situation is this: 

1. We have had very low numbers of pilgrims in the last few years. As much as we believe that nearly everyone could benefit from experiencing a Walk, adding pilgrims has been a struggle.

2. We need new board members. After several years as the Community Lay Director, my husband is stepping down. There are other positions open as well. If you are interested in joining the board, please let me know. The meetings are online (Google Meet), so you don't need to drive to the far ends of the city/earth to attend. This is your opportunity to influence the future of our Community! The insurance bill (over $2,000) will be paid through 2026 in the hopes that we will have Walks in the future.

If you know someone who is very anxious to go on a Walk, there are surrounding communities that are planning Walks in 2026. I can send you the information.
